At Summer Suppers, our host sites serve those in Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs facing food insecurity
without judgment or bias. We know that food insecurity may result from various and often unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of a person’s control. Our guests may be those experiencing homelessness or the threat of homelessness, single parents or families struggling to make ends meet, seniors and others on fixed incomes grappling with the rising cost of living, young people living on their own or the under- or unemployed. All are welcome at our table. The only thing we ask is that you find your own way to our host sites—no delivery service is available for Suppers. Automobile, bicycle, public transportation or on foot are options for most all of our host sites.
